Tolroy Manor Holiday Park
The Tolroy Manor Holiday Park has a great range of family facilities for use by all our guests during the summer season which is open March – November. Facilities include: tennis court, squash court, swimming pool, sauna, games area, family club, bar area (free wifi), snooker room, launderette, shop soft play zone and crazy golf. There is free wifi in the bar area and some of our properties have wifi available in the property.
At Tolroy manor we provide a range of options, from 2 bedroomed bungalows, 3 bedroomed traditional homes to large A framed Tudor style properties offering plenty of space for the whole family. Beyond the Tolroy holiday village, we can offer modern holiday homes and apartments as well as properties adjacent to the beach at Riviere Towans. All our properties are privately owned, with their own individual style. WiFi is available in most properties but also in the bar at Tolroy Manor..
Tolroy Manor House is the centrepiece of the Tolroy Estate and Holiday Park. This 18th Century Manor house forms the hub of activity at Tolroy. with restaurant, bar, and swimming pool, tennis courts close at hand. This park, with properties situated in its beautiful gardens, makes a great base for any holiday but if you prefer not to venture far, don’t worry it’s all here for you. Tolroy Manor Holiday Park is only a short distance from the historic town of Hayle and is surrounded by a beautiful scenery in all directions: the west cornwall countryside to the south, the Penwith uplands with atmospheric disused engine house, evoking thoughts of times gone by, the estuary on the western edge of Hayle and the amazing St Ives Bay to the north..
Tolroy Manor Holiday Village is situated approximately one mile south of the Historic seaside town of Hayle.
Gradually over the years it was transformed from this historic family home to the beautiful holiday village set amongst the well tended grounds of the Manor House we see today. There are three distinct areas of accommodation at Tolroy. Strawberry Hill conveniently situated near the entrance of the park, with traditional, 3 bedroomed properties, Trevithick Court with large 3 or 4 bedroomed homes as well as the smaller 2 bedroomed bungalows and Tudor Court with its black and white Tudor style 2, 3 and 4 bedroomed properties, offering plenty of space for the whole family.
At the centre is the Manor House, with the restaurant, bar, entertainment venue as well as swimming pool, tennis courts, children’s play areas and much more.

The History of Tolroy Manor
Tolroy Manor has a fascinating history. It was occupied by the Trevithick family during the 1800s. This family along with the Harvey family of Hayle, were world renowned for their work in developing the high pressure boilers and pumping engines which were paramount in the development of industry across the world.
John Harvey Trevithick who lived at the beautiful manor house during the 1800s, came from a famous engineering family. His father Richard Trevithick, whose road locomotive climbed Camborne Hill on Christmas Eve 1801, has been described as “a pioneer of the Industrial Revolution and undoubtedly one of the greatest engineers to have ever lived.”
You will note the wall dividing Tudor Court and Trevithick Court is the last of the old walled garden for the Manor house.
The last member of the Trevithick family to live at Tolroy was in 1941. Tolroy Manor has grown and developed over the years to become a unique site on the hillside above Hayle, looking towards the sea and St. Ives.
